Crystallization of authigenic carbonates in mud volcanoes at Lake Baikal   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper presents data on authigenic siderite first found in surface sediments from mud volcanoes in the Central (K-2) and Southern (Malen’kii) basins of Lake Baikal. Ca is the predominant cation, which substitutes Fe in the crystalline lattice of siderite. The enrichment of the carbonates in the 13C isotope (from +3.3 to +6.8‰ for the Malen’kii volcano and from +17.7 to +21.9‰ for K-2) results from the crystallization of the carbonates during methane generation via the bacterial destruction of organic matter (acetate). The overall depletion of the carbonates in 18O is mainly inherited from the isotopic composition of Baikal water.  相似文献

A multi-chamber model of radioactivity migration in reservoirs was developed. It describes transport of radioactive substances in water and in bed sediments taking into account sorbtion of radionuclides on suspended particles. The model provides higher resolution than simplified chamber models do. At the same time, unlike complex two- or three-dimensional dynamic models, it does not require hard-to-obtain data such as detailed data on bathymetry, currents and winds. The model was included into the Sybilla program code that was developed in the framework of the Rosatom project called PRORYV. The model was verified against the observed data on the contamination of the Kiev Reservoir with 137Cs in 1986.  相似文献

The results of thermobarometry yielded the PT parameters of formation and evolution of sapphirine- bearing granulites in the Anabar shield with peak values of UHT metamorphism in the range of T = 920–1000°C at P = 9–11 kbar. Isotope–geochronological data indicate a polymetamorphic evolution of these rocks. Detrital zircon cores in the center of crystals yielded ages of 3.36, 2.75, 2.6, and 2.5 Ga. Later, superimposed metamorphic transformations of the detrital zircon formed rims dated to 2.4, 2.3, 2.2, and 1.83 Ga. A potential provenance source of the detrital zircons could be hypersthene plagiogneisses and metabasics of the Daldyn Group with a premetamorphic age no less than 3.32 Ga and products of their metamorphism of about 2.7 Ga old.  相似文献

Discriminant analysis was performed for representative sets of igneous rocks with adakitic geochemical signatures (granitoids of Archean tonalite–trondhjemite–granodiorite suites, island-arc adakites, and adakites and adakitic granitoids of collisional to postcollisional geodynamic settings). It was shown that the granitoids of Archean tonalite–trondhjemite–granodiorite suites are significantly different from islandarc adakites, as well as from collisional to postcollisional adakites and adakitic granitoids. We carried out accurate ( $\sigma _{obs} \approx 0\mathop .\limits^m 003$ ) W BV R photoelectric photometry of RR Lyn and obtained light curves of this eclipsing system. Our analysis of the light curves using an iterative differential-correction method yields a self-consistent system of geometrical and physical characteristics of the two components of the system and their evolutionary states. The system's age is estimated to be t=(1.08±0.15)×109 yr. Observations in all filters are fitted satisfactorily by the same geometry (r 1,2, i, e, and ω). An analysisof blanketing effects in the W, B, V, and R bands indicates that the atmospheric chemical compositions of both components of the system are peculiar: the primary shows an excess ([Fe/H]I=0.31±0.08) and the secondary a deficit ([Fe/H]II=?0.24±0.06) of heavy elements. This is in qualitative and quantitative agreement with the results of an earlier spectroscopic study of RR Lyn by Lyubimkov and Rachkovskaya (1995). The derived physical characteristics of RR Lyn provide evidence that the metallicity effects are probably restricted to the stellar surface layers, while their interiors have normal chemical abundances.  相似文献

The results of study of six cores taken from different morphostructural zones in the Mendeleev Ridge area are discussed. Average contents of minerals of the illite group, chlorite, kaolinite, and smectite are about 60, 21, 12, and 5%, respectively. It was found that fluctuations of minerals along the section correlate with variations in sedimentation constraints in the Late Quaternary. Peaks of kaolinite usually coincide with increased contents of the sand fraction, probably, due to its delivery by icebergs. In contrast, illite shows good correlation with the pelite fraction, testifying to its transport mainly by ices and currents. Minerals of the chlorite and smectite groups in the studied cores are less informative.  相似文献

The existence of a close correlation between the atmospheric electric field and geomagnetic pulsations in the range of Pc 2–4 is demonstrated experimentally and theoretically (from the horizontal propagation of pulsations). Presented paper describes the basic principles and features of the implementation of a robotic network of optical telescopes MASTER, designed to study the prompt (simultaneous with gamma radiation) optical emission of gamma-ray bursts and to perform the sky survey to detect unknown objects and transient phenomena. With joint efforts of Sternberg astronomical institute, High altitude astronomical station of the Pulkovo observatory, Ural state university, Irkutsk state university, Blagoveshchensk pedagogical university, the robotic telescopes MASTER?II near Kislovodsk, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk and Blagoveshchensk were installed and tested. The network spread over the longitudes is greater than 6?h. A further expansion of the network is considered.  相似文献
