New data on the elemental composition of the Severnaya Dvina River, the largest one in the White Sea region, are presented. The elemental composition of the river water in May, the period of the snowmelt flood, is similar to the upper layer of the Earth’s continental crust due to the active erosion of the earth material in the catchment area. In August, the period of the summer low water, the impact of biogenic components increases and elevated concentrations of Cd, Sb, Mn, Zn, Pb, and Cu are observed. At other times, no significant pollution by heavy and rare-earth elements is registered.  相似文献

The sensitivity of the spectral and phytometric parameters of the plant canopy to variety differences and the sowing rate are compared in a two-factor field trial with triticale. Six genotypes and three seeding norms were tested in three repetitions (a total of 54 plots) in different phases of plant development. The response parameters used were the first canonical variable of the spectral brightness coefficient in the visible and near-infrared spectral ranges and similar phytometric statistics of a crop (above-ground dry phytomass, height, density, etc.).  相似文献

The mercury concentration levels in the water of aquatic ecosystem of the Northern Dvina River delta are defined. The interrelations of mercury concentrations with physicochemical parameters of the water body, namely with pH, Eh, temperature, salinity, oxygen and organic matter content are studied. The dominant forms of mercury migration and its presence in the water are revealed. Regularities of changes and spatial variability of the mercury concentrations in the estuarine area of the river, peculiarities of mercury compound migration and transformation in the barrier zone of the Northern Dvina River-Dvina Bay of the White Sea are studied.  相似文献

We examine the types of icings (aufeis) in the river basins of Primorski Krai. An assessment is made of the conditions for their formation in autumn and winter and for their decay in the spring-summer time. Depending on the type of icings, we identified the character of their impact on the main components of landscape: relief, hydrological regime of streams, soil, vegetation, etc. The emphasis in this study is on the icing formations in the zone of seasonally frozen earth materials and, to a lesser extent, in areas of permafrost islands.  相似文献

The paper presents information on joint research of the short-term (tidal and synoptic) variability of the hydrological and hydrochemical parameters during the summer 2016 low-water period in mesotidal estuary of the Kyanda River, which flows into Onega Bay, the White Sea. Mercury content in bottom estuarine sediments of the Northern Dvina River and the Dvina Bay of the White Sea is studied. Major regularities of the behavior of the metal and its compounds in bottom sediments of the water area are defined. The role of lithological composition, pH and Eh of the environment, the presence of hydrogen sulfide for determining the content and forms of the mercury presence in the bottom sediments of the region are studied. The sediments related to technogenic formations are specified. The paths and forms of mercury coming from bottom sediments to the near-bottom water level are detected, and the methylmercury content in the sediments is calculated.  相似文献

The paper summarizes data on the geology, lithology, and geochemistry of petroliferous Riphean, Vendian, and Lower Cambrian rocks in the central parts of the Siberian Craton. The petrological-geological properties of these sediments have been assessed based on results of paleogeographic analysis of these rocks, discrimination of oil reservoirs and oil-source successions, determination of secondary alterations of the rocks, and sources of oil generation and regional migration of hydrocarbons into various traps in zones of possible oiland-gas accumulation.  相似文献
