This paper examines the utility of a number of pattern measures for local exploratory analysis of binary spatial data. Based on a review of existing pattern measures in cartography, geography, image analysis, and landscape ecology, two fundamental classes of such measures, termed compositional and configurational, are identified. The paper focuses on configurational measures and it is suggested that as many as five such measures (join counts, patch numbers, patch sizes, patch proximity, and distribution of the classes relative to the focal cell of the window) are required to differentiate between all possible local categorical maps. This suggestion is explored by examining aspects of the statistical behaviour (probability distributions and correlations between extreme values of pairs of measures) of a set of 12 configurational measures. Their use is also demonstrated by means of an empirical example.  相似文献

通过临近时次、临近空间降水回波性质相似假设,以人工智能技术结合快速动态分级法(Fast Dynamic Categorical method,FDC)为核心,设计广西区域分钟级雷达定量降水估测产品模型。在单部雷达估测降水时,分两层三次使用感知器寻求合理的降水类型分类Z-I关系,首先将FDC看为一种多分类算法,根据单站雷达各级回波的降水估测结果误差将回波区内的站点分为强站点和弱站点两类,然后分别对这两类站点再次使用FDC建立新的强、弱两类Z-I关系。在多部雷达组网联合估测定量降水时,将各雷达估测值等权重看待,将单部雷达估测作为一个分支,通过连结方式构建一个多层感知器(Multilayer Perceptron,MLP)。无站点回波区采用K近邻算法(K-Nearest Neighbor,KNN)选择合适的MLP求得的Z-I关系估算降水量。对2019年3—10月试验产品进行检验分析,结果表明以区域站组成的训练组小时降水相关系数达0.973 7,以国家级气象台站组成的测试组相关系数达0.825 6。  相似文献

This study evaluates the feasibility of hyperspectral and multispectral satellite imagery for categorical and quantitative mapping of salinity stress in sugarcane fields located in the southwest of Iran. For this purpose a Hyperion image acquired on September 2, 2010 and a Landsat7 ETM+ image acquired on September 7, 2010 were used as hyperspectral and multispectral satellite imagery. Field data including soil salinity in the sugarcane root zone was collected at 191 locations in 25 fields during September 2010. In the first section of the paper, based on the yield potential of sugarcane as influenced by different soil salinity levels provided by FAO, soil salinity was classified into three classes, low salinity (1.7–3.4 dS/m), moderate salinity (3.5–5.9 dS/m) and high salinity (6–9.5) by applying different classification methods including Support Vector Machine (SVM), Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM), Minimum Distance (MD) and Maximum Likelihood (ML) on Hyperion and Landsat images. In the second part of the paper the performance of nine vegetation indices (eight indices from literature and a new developed index in this study) extracted from Hyperion and Landsat data was evaluated for quantitative mapping of salinity stress. The experimental results indicated that for categorical classification of salinity stress, Landsat data resulted in a higher overall accuracy (OA) and Kappa coefficient (KC) than Hyperion, of which the MD classifier using all bands or PCA (1–5) as an input performed best with an overall accuracy and kappa coefficient of 84.84% and 0.77 respectively. Vice versa for the quantitative estimation of salinity stress, Hyperion outperformed Landsat. In this case, the salinity and water stress index (SWSI) has the best prediction of salinity stress with an R2 of 0.68 and RMSE of 1.15 dS/m for Hyperion followed by Landsat data with an R2 and RMSE of 0.56 and 1.75 dS/m respectively. It was concluded that categorical mapping of salinity stress is the best option for monitoring agricultural fields and for this purpose Landsat data are most suitable.  相似文献

Methods for map comparison such as the Kappa and Tau statistics have grown popular in applications of remote sensing accuracy assessment. These methods take pairs of raster maps as sets of paired observations and do not consider spatial structure except for cell-by-cell overlap. In contrast, landscape structure metrics such as mean patch size that are commonly used in landscape ecology do express spatial structure, however without addressing cell-by-cell overlap. This paper introduces a number of comparison methods that consider spatial structure and overlap simultaneously. They achieve this by involving the neighbourhood of a cell in the calculation of similarity at its location. For this, the methods make use of a distance weighted moving window. Two test cases demonstrate that the different comparison methods offer a spatial account of varied aspects of map similarity. It is found that the methods can best be used in conjunction with a visual analysis; they then serve to quantify, reject or confirm hypotheses.  相似文献

 Being a non-linear method based on a rigorous formalism and an efficient processing of various information sources, the Bayesian maximum entropy (BME) approach has proven to be a very powerful method in the context of continuous spatial random fields, providing much more satisfactory estimates than those obtained from traditional linear geostatistics (i.e., the various kriging techniques). This paper aims at presenting an extension of the BME formalism in the context of categorical spatial random fields. In the first part of the paper, the indicator kriging and cokriging methods are briefly presented and discussed. A special emphasis is put on their inherent limitations, both from the theoretical and practical point of view. The second part aims at presenting the theoretical developments of the BME approach for the case of categorical variables. The three-stage procedure is explained and the formulations for obtaining prior joint distributions and computing posterior conditional distributions are given for various typical cases. The last part of the paper consists in a simulation study for assessing the performance of BME over the traditional indicator (co)kriging techniques. The results of these simulations highlight the theoretical limitations of the indicator approach (negative probability estimates, probability distributions that do not sum up to one, etc.) as well as the much better performance of the BME approach. Estimates are very close to the theoretical conditional probabilities, that can be computed according to the stated simulation hypotheses.  相似文献

以江苏省204家4A级及以上景区为例,利用手机信令漫游监测所得的旅游客流客源数据,基于Zifp法则表现江苏景区年客流量的位序-规模特征,在全省景区旅游客流规模的不同组间差异特征分析的基础上,使用多元线性回归和最优标度回归方法研究了景区客流规模的影响因素。研究表明:① 省域目的地内部景区客流规模等级明显,省外客源的客流规模分布较省内差异大,更符合首位型分布特征;② 全省整体客流的季节性不明显,各景区的季节性较强,不同产品类型的景区存在季节波动性差异;③ 景区客流受景区等级、季节性、市中心距离、所在城市经济发展水平等因素的影响,省内外客流在部分因素影响程度上存在明显差异,景区季节波动增大会显著降低其接待的省内客流规模。对优化景区客流规模等级体系和目的地区域空间结构提出建议。  相似文献

目的:基于数据挖掘分析林珮琴《类证治裁》治疗脾胃病的用药规律,为中医药治疗脾胃病及新方研发提供参考。方法:运用中医传承计算平台构建《类证治裁》治疗脾胃病的方剂数据库,并对其进行用药频次、性味、归经、功效、高频组合与核心组合的分析。结果:共纳入方剂123首,涉及药物142味。用药频次≥20次的共8味,其中甘草应用频次最多。四气以温、寒、平为主,五味以甘、苦、辛为主,归经以脾、肺、胃为主。药物功效以补虚类为主。通过关联规则分析得到药物高频组合16组,通过聚类分析得到药物核心组合3组。结论:林珮琴治疗脾胃病始终秉持“以补益脾胃为本”的理念,补行并重,补清兼顾,为现代中医学诊治脾胃病提供了一定的理论依据。  相似文献

Simulating fields of categorical geospatial variables from samples is crucial for many purposes, such as spatial uncertainty assessment of natural resources distributions. However, effectively simulating complex categorical variables (i.e., multinomial classes) is difficult because of their nonlinearity and complex interclass relationships. The existing pure Markov chain approach for simulating multinomial classes has an apparent deficiency—underestimation of small classes, which largely impacts the usefulness of the approach. The Markov chain random field (MCRF) theory recently proposed supports theoretically sound multi-dimensional Markov chain models. This paper conducts a comparative study between a MCRF model and the previous Markov chain model for simulating multinomial classes to demonstrate that the MCRF model effectively solves the small-class underestimation problem. Simulated results show that the MCRF model fairly produces all classes, generates simulated patterns imitative of the original, and effectively reproduces input transiograms in realizations. Occurrence probability maps are estimated to visualize the spatial uncertainty associated with each class and the optimal prediction map. It is concluded that the MCRF model provides a practically efficient estimator for simulating multinomial classes from grid samples.  相似文献

The comparison of categorical maps is a common problem in several different contexts. Differences between categorical maps can be characterized and measured in a variety of ways. In 2004 we invited individuals from remote sensing, geographical information analysis, spatial modelling, and landscape ecology to participate in a virtual workshop in order to compare strategies for comparison. This revealed that the key dimensions of comparison relate to (1) the map characteristics considered, (2) the nature of the comparison, (3) the handling of geographical space, (4) the units of computed measures, and (5) the tests of significance.Ferko Csillag deceased  相似文献

This paper examines 50-year spatio-temporal trajectories of neighborhoods (Census Tracts) for four cities discerned by their population growth trends and spatial patterns of growth: Buffalo, New York; Charlotte, North Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; and Portland, Oregon. Using five decades of Census data from 1970 to 2010, a clustering procedure is used to establish five classes of neighborhoods: Suburban, Stability, Blue Collar, Struggling, and New Starts. The transitions and sequences of neighborhoods through these groups are compared, revealing marked differences in the dynamics of neighborhoods according by city. Findings show that while Struggling neighborhoods, characterized largely by high poverty and unemployment levels, were very unlikely to transition out of this group over the course of 50 years in the cities of Buffalo, Charlotte, and Chicago, nearly half Portland's struggling neighborhoods transitioned to a neighborhood of higher socioeconomic status during that time period. The types of neighborhoods that exhibited signs of gentrification also varied according to city. The variability of neighborhood trajectories was greatest for the rapidly growing cities of Charlotte and Portland while neighborhoods in Buffalo and Chicago tended to follow a more predicable downgrading process.  相似文献
