Fengshui deserves serious scrutiny from geographers. Fengshui has been a highly significant influence on the shaping of human environments in the Chinese cultural sphere for at least 4000 years. Efforts to eliminate it in the twentieth century, by Chinese governments intent on modernisation, have failed. Advice on fengshui is still eagerly sought today by families and businesses in Chinese communities, whether on the mainland, offshore or overseas. The first part of this paper briefly introduces fengshui . The second part applies Lefebvre's three modalities of space to the time-space manipulations and outcomes of the operation of fengshui . The third part explores what fengshui offers a postmodern world, concentrating on (a) the nature of the 'harmony' it seeks to establish between people and nature; (b) the nature of fengshui 's time-universe; and (c) the extent to which fengshui 's goals of time-space harmony offer a framework for approaching sustainable development.  相似文献

凭借着独一无二的地质、地貌、海洋、气候、土壤和生态特征,江苏潮滩拥有丰富的自然资源,然而却又受着不利自然条件及不合理人类活动的限制。江苏潮滩沉积表现出4个水平相带:草滩(湿地)沉积带、盐蒿泥滩沉积带、泥一砂混和滩沉积带、粉砂滩沉积带。潮滩是极为脆弱的生态系统,它极容易受到湿地围垦、低效的生产方式、酷取滥采、环境污染等人类扰动的破坏。基于以上认识,提出顺应潮滩自然演变,人类活动与潮滩沉积环境的和谐开发利用及保护模式。  相似文献

地质环境与城市规划建设息息相关。本文结合亦庄新城规划建设,对地质环境问题进行了分析研究,建立了二者相互影响的模型,并通过系统聚类方法进行了协调性分析,为今后的新城规划中的地质勘查工作提供了工作思路,也为新城规划和合理布局提供了科学依据。  相似文献

以岭南古村落———德庆县金林水乡为例,对旅游给当地带来的社会文化影响进行实证研究。调查表明,旅游对古村落居民的社会文化影响比其他类型旅游地要深刻,目前对金林水乡的影响处于初期,以正面为主,负面影响初显端倪;指出金林水乡应综合考察当地居民在旅游开发中是否受益及受益的公平性,注意分析蕴藏在经济背后的社会文化影响,通过利益协调、教育培训和文化整合控制消极影响,以促进古村落旅游健康持续发展。  相似文献

This study proposes an inverse solution algorithm through which both the aquifer parameters and the zone structure of these parameters can be determined based on a given set of observations on piezometric heads. In the zone structure identification problem fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering method is used. The association of the zone structure with the transmissivity distribution is accomplished through an optimization model. The meta-heuristic harmony search (HS) algorithm, which is conceptualized using the musical process of searching for a perfect state of harmony, is used as an optimization technique. The optimum parameter zone structure is identified based on three criteria which are the residual error, parameter uncertainty, and structure discrimination. A numerical example given in the literature is solved to demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm. Also, a sensitivity analysis is performed to test the performance of the HS algorithm for different sets of solution parameters. Results indicate that the proposed solution algorithm is an effective way in the simultaneous identification of aquifer parameters and their corresponding zone structures.  相似文献

This study proposes a groundwater resources management model in which the solution is performed through a combined simulation-optimization model. A modular three-dimensional finite difference groundwater flow model, MODFLOW is used as the simulation model. This model is then combined with a Harmony Search (HS) optimization algorithm which is based on the musical process of searching for a perfect state of harmony. The performance of the proposed HS based management model is tested on three separate groundwater management problems: (i) maximization of total pumping from an aquifer (steady-state); (ii) minimization of the total pumping cost to satisfy the given demand (steady-state); and (iii) minimization of the pumping cost to satisfy the given demand for multiple management periods (transient). The sensitivity of HS algorithm is evaluated by performing a sensitivity analysis which aims to determine the impact of related solution parameters on convergence behavior. The results show that HS yields nearly same or better solutions than the previous solution methods and may be used to solve management problems in groundwater modeling.  相似文献

In this paper, the factor of safety for a prescribed slip surface will be determined from an equivalent lower bound method (extremum principle), which can satisfy all equilibrium conditions without an interslice force function. This approach will give an overall factor of safety close to that from the classical methods for normal problems, while the thrust line, the local factor of safety for individual slice/block and the progressive yielding phenomenon can be estimated, which will be useful for some special cases. The force and moment equilibrium of every slice will be satisfied, while the location of the thrust line will always be acceptable in the present formulation. To solve the difficult optimisation problem, an innovative coupled particle swarm/harmony search algorithm is proposed in this paper, and a practical engineering problem for which the factor of safety is close to 1.0 is used to illustrate the consideration of the residual strength in the limit equilibrium slope stability analysis.  相似文献

环境为人类生存发展提供了空间和所需要的资源,因此是重要的基础性生产要素。自本世纪50年代以来,环境问题已成为世界关注的焦点,人类对环境的认识出现了两次飞跃性进展。大量事实表明,灾害与环境同是地球运动和人类社会经济活动的产物。环境是灾害活动的背景和基础,灾害是环境异常恶化的表现,二者相互作用,同步消长,形成密切的交融与互馈关系。在减灾行动中,只有把防灾抗灾和保护与治理环境有机地结合起来,才能取得充分的效果。  相似文献
