| Abstract: | In this paper the method of determination of trace halogenated hydrocarbons inseawater by headspace gas chromatography is reported. The principle and instrumental devices of the method and the effect of the experimental conditions on itssensitivity are described. This method is good for rapid and precise determination oftrace halogenated hydrocarbons in seawater. We have used this method for the determinaton of volatile halogenated hydrocarbons in the coastal water of JianzhouBay (Qingdao). The data for the volatile halogenated hydrocarbons are listed inTable 4. |
