| Abstract: | Summary TheSH-type of motion in an isotropic elastic halfspace with infinite electrical conductivity subjected to an uniform magnetic field and disturbed by a buried source is investigated. Expressions for the surface displacements for various type of sources are obtained by an application of Cagniard technique. Numerical calculation has been performed for the case of a diapole source moving parallel to the surface of the halfspace with an uniform velocity. |
