摘    要:中国的遗迹化石在20世纪后期取得了长足的进展,主要表现在三个方面:前寒武纪遗迹化石与后生动物的起源和演化研究,将后生动物遗迹化石记录追索到1500Ma甚至1800Ma左右的元古宙早期;遗迹化石和遗迹组构与沉积环境和层序地层的关系研究,描述了大量的遗迹化石,建立了多种地方性的遗迹相,遗迹组构研究开始渗透到遗迹学研究的众多方面;拓扑遗迹分析,将拓扑学与遗迹学紧密联系,创立了遗迹学研究的新方法。

STUDY OF TRACE FOSSILS IN CHINA

Abstract:Great progresses have been made in ichnology of China since 1980's, which can be summarized as three aspects. (1) Precambrian trace fossils and metazoan origin and evolution were studied. Possible metazoan traces dating about 1 500 Ma~1 800 Ma have been found in North China. (2) A lot of trace fossils, local ichnofacies and ichnofabrics were described from the continental facies to deep sea facies. Studies of trace fossils and ichnofabrics play a great role in reconstruction of palaeoenvironments and sequence stratigraphy. (3) Topology was successfully applied to the study of ichnology. Classification of ichnoclass and ichnofamily were established on the basis of the combination of topology and Euclidean geometry.
