| Abstract: | This paper is mainly about the application and development of soil improvement techniques in Shanghai. The emphases have been placed on the study of the basic principle, the applied soil types and applying results of each soil treatment methods which have been usually used in Shanghai. Some practical experience has been put forward which can be consulted during the design, construction and test of a project. |
