Interaction between jack-up rig foundations and offshore platform piles |

| Abstract: | This paper presents a study of the interaction between the foundations of a jack-up rig and the pile foundations of an adjacent steel offshore platform. Parametric solutions are presented to evaluate the effect of the rig footing load on the performance of the pile foundation. Homogeneous and non-homogeneous soil conditions have been considered. An example is used to illustrate the application of the solutions in a practical problem. |
