Nyer is a vice president with ARCADIS Geraghty &Miller Inc., where he is responsible for maintaining and expanding the company's technical expertise in geology/hydrogeology, engineering, modeling, risk assessment, and bioremediation. He has been active in the development of new treatment technologies for many years. His areas of research interest include biological treatment, suspended solids separation, chemical oxidation, in situ treatment, air treatment systems, and the application of new technologies to ground water cleanup. He has been responsible for the strategies, technical design, and installation of more than 200 ground water and soil remediation systems at contaminated sites throughout the United States.;Lawrence S. Graves, CPG, CP, is president and owner of L.S. Graves Associates Inc., specializing in environment and land reuse consulting services. He has 20 years experience in the environmental field serving in a variety of technical and management roles. During the past 10 years, he has focused on the issues surrounding reuse of industrial and commercial property having environmental concerns. He is an expert in the identification of site conditions, remedial alternatives, and land uses that are synergistic. He is a certified professional under the Ohio Voluntary Action Program and a certified professional geologist with the American Institute of Professional Geologists. He holds an M.S. degree in geology with emphasis in environmental and hydrogeology from Bowling Green State University.
