| Abstract: | Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, Qingdao has attracted a large number of Korean people with its beautiful natural environment and rapid economic development. Korean people have gradually become an integral part of the local society. Based on the data acquired from questionnaires and interviews, the dimensions of social integration of Korean in Qingdao were constructed from three aspects: economy, culture and psychology. Also, the social integration of Korean in Qingdao and its influencing factors were analyzed. The study discovered that the level of social integration of Koreans in Qingdao is not high. In the four aspects of social integration, cultural integration has the highest degree, psychological integration is the lowest,and economic integration is in between. The degree of integration is affected by age, educational level, the number of local relatives and the time of staying in Qingdao. Based on the findings, some suggestions are put forward to enhance the social integration of Koreans in Qingdao in terms of the following three aspects: thoughts change, media integration, and government management. © 2023 Editorial Department of World Regional Studies.
