| Abstract: | As a model of the Lyman  absorbing systems of quasar lights, the gravitational equilibrium of a baryon clump within an extended dark matter composed of collisionless particles is examined. There exists the critical mass below the clump is stable. It is highly probable that these baryon clumps may be the Lyman absorbers.Paper presented at the IAU Third Asian-Pacific Regional Meeting, held in Kyoto, Japan, between 30 September–6 October, 1984. |
