| Abstract: | The global seismicity level in the year 2000 was slightly higher than former years,but its disaster situation was very slight.Altogether in the world 240 people died,3 096 people injured ,and about 300 million US dollars economic losses were caused by earthquakes.The heaviest earthquake disasters occurred in Indonesia in 2000. |
