| Abstract: | It is difficult to drill a water well in Yanliang area of Xi'an City through a water sensitive formation with a interval more than 1 000 meters composed of Tertiary and Quaternary overlying stratum To solve this problem,several types of drilling mud with high inhibitive,better rheological properties and less cost are made up based on the theoretical analysis and laboratory tests The results of drilling in the site indicate that mud is very good |
