摘    要:文章分析了国际两大重要的旅游学术期刊《旅游研究纪事》和《旅游管理》1995~2003年发表的旅游动机文献,对旅游动机理论、旅游动机过程和旅游动机经验性研究的研究目的、方法、因素项目、结论进行了总结。旅游动机理论主要包括驱力理论、期待价值理论和唤醒理论,较常被运用的动机分类框架有推-拉因素,需要层次理论和逃-寻二分法。经验研究多采用市场调查方法收集数据,数据分析技术主要有因子分析、方差分析、T检验等。经验研究结果说明不同的游客群组和不同目的地其主导旅游动机存在差异,很难从经验研究中概括出适宜于所有群组和目的地的共同的主导动机。

Abstract:Tourist motivation is the direct driving force to drive tourist activities, playing an important role in decision_making process and influencing tourism image, activity, satisfaction and loyalty. This paper analyzes printed tourist motivation literatures from 1995 to 2003 in two important international tourism academic journals Annals of Tourism Research and Tourism Management. It summarizes tourist motivation theory, tourist motivation process and the purpose of research method, item and conclusion in empirical study. Tourism motivation theory includes drive theory, expectancy_value theory and arousal theory. Motivation taxonomic frameworks used frequently are push_pull factors, need hierarchy and escape_seeking dichotomy. Empirical research, mostly apply market survey to collect data and fact analysis, ANOVA analysis, T_test and so on to analyze these data. The results of research indicate that tourist motivations differ in tourist groups and destinations. It is difficult to find the same important motivations which conform to all tourist groups or destinations.
