Institution: | Wayne A. Pettyjohn is a professor in the Department of Geology at Oklahoma State University. He recently completed a one-year project with the Robert S. Kerr Research Center in Ada, Oklahoma. Previously he was a professor of geology at Ohio State University. He received a BA. and MA., in geology from the University of South Dakota in 1959andaPh.D. in geology from Boston University in 1964. While with the USGS in North Dakota, he studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1968.;Arthur W. Hounslow is currently professor of geology, Oklahoma State University. He obtained his B.Sc. degree from the University of Melbourne (Australia) and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Carleton University (Canada). Dr. Hounslow has taught at Idaho State University and was employed as senior project mineralogist at Colorado School of Mines Research Institute and as a geochemist with the Ground-Water Research Branch of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. His current research interests include ground-water geochemistry, specifically rock-water interaction and organic and inorganic characterization of subsurface materials. |
