Abstract:
A detailed simulation of the electromagnetic component of extensive air showers generated by 1011–1015 eV photons has been carried out by means of the EPAS code. We present and discuss the results concerning the longitudinal, lateral and temporal distributions of electrons and photons down to 1 MeV energy threshold.
