| 摘 要： | 牛头山火山地质公园位于风景壮观秀丽的闽南漳州市海滨，构造位置处于平潭一东山北东向断裂带中段，火山口坐落在龙海市隆教乡白塘村附近，涨潮时古火山口部分被海水淹没成为孤立于海中的小岛，退潮时，火山口全貌再露海面，火山口附近有一深槽（凹地），直径约8m，低于周围岩石3m，火山岩地层为新第三纪佛昙组上段玄武岩，根据岩性分布特征及岩石结构构造和岩层的产状等。可划分为喷溢相和火山颈相，是省内保存较完好的新生代古火山机构。

| Abstract: | The volcanic Geology Park of Niutoushan is situated on seashore of Zhangzhou city that has grand sight and beautiful landscape, in south Fujian The geological structural position is in the middle part of Pingtan-Dongshan NNE fault zone The old crater is located near Baitang village, Longjiao township, Longhai city It is partly submerged by seawater in rising tide, thus a lonely islet is formed in the sea; when ebbing tide, whole old crater is emerged on the sea again There is a deep trough which is 3 meters lower than around rock near the old crater, its diameter is about 8 meters The volcanic stratum of the volcanic Geology Park of Niutoushan belongs to basalt of the upper member of Neogene Futan formation According to the distribution characterictrics of lithology, texture and structure of volcanic rock, volcanic rock occurrence, and so on, the volcanic facies are divided into eruptive facies and volcanic neck facies, they are the Cenozoic palaeovolcanic edifice which preserved relatively well in Fujian |
