Abstract:igh stress softrock refers to a kind of engineering rockmasses which has remarkable plastic deformation under the condition of high stress. The characteristics of engineering geology of the high stress soft rockmasses in Tonger coal mine,as the clay mineral components,the water absorption,the mechanical property,the stability,the strength of stress and other properties of the soft rockmasses,were discussed.
