Abstract:U-Au ore field No. 790 is located in a NNE-trending tectono-magmatic reactivated zone in the northeastern section of western (?)inling. Uranium and gold deposits within the ore field are all centralized within or near a uranium-productive massif No. 790. The massif, closely related to metallogenesis, is a composite massif of multi-stage and multi- intrusion and effusion which occurs at the specific intersection part between two regional deep fault systems in EW and NS directions. Through the analysis and comparison of metallogenetic geological characteristics of uranium and gold deposits in the ore field this paper deals with similarity in metallogencsis of uranium and gold, difference in distinet zoning of uranium and gold deposits. It is suggested that attention should be paid to areas considered to be favourable for uranium while prospecting for gold.
