| Abstract: | According to the characteristics of the geological data which bears orientation, the paper introduces a new method of trend analysis by smoothing to obtain trend values. The satisfying result, anomal encirclement, is drawn from many time's tests and application of the new method in various areas. The method is simple and convenient, and with not so much of calculating work, it can be done by calculator. So it is very suitable to popularize in the field geological team |
