| Abstract: | Red tide is regarded as a issue of marine ecosystem dynamics.In this paper,the basic equations which describe characteristics of red tide are given,and the necessity of numerical studies discussed.Numerical method is helpful to understand the mechanism of red tide and promote the development of red tide prediction. |
