| 摘 要： | 当前主流演化经济地理学理论将企业知识与技术逻辑置于分析的核心位置,具有知识与技术决定论倾向。本文基于中国外资企业、国有企业和民营企业在知识与非知识特征方面的差异,使用2000—2016年中国海关进出口贸易数据库等数据,建立面板数据回归模型,实证研究企业所有制结构与区域产业演化路径的关系,试图说明企业知识与非知识特征都会对区域产业演化路径产生影响,从而超越主流范式。本文研究结果表明：① 就区域技术关联性分化而言,外资企业推动区域产业发展的路径突破,民营企业越多的地区发展出更多路径依赖型新产业。② 综合考虑技术关联性分化与技术复杂度分化后,外资企业尽管有助于推动区域产业发展的路径突破,但路径突破型新产业的技术复杂度往往低于所在城市平均水平。国有企业利用现有知识与技术发展技术复杂更高的路径依赖型新产业,而民营企业利用现有知识与技术发展技术复杂度相对变低的路径依赖型新产业。③ 当然,本文也发现近年来东部沿海地区一些民营企业开始推动路径依赖且技术复杂性提高型产业分化。④ 最后,本文发现地区经济发展水平与路径突破型产业升级呈显著正相关关系,与路径依赖型产业降级呈显著负相关关系。本文研究结论可对中国区域产业新旧动能转换提供一定参考。

| Abstract: | The mainstream Evolutionary Economic Geography studies show a tendency of technological determinism, considering that firms’ knowledge characteristics are placed at the core of analysis. This paper analyzes the impact of firm ownership structure on regional industrial development paths which is divided into four types on the basis of technological relatedness and technological complexity. Due to their difference in knowledge and non-knowledge characteristics, it is pointed out in this paper that foreign-owned, state-owned and private firms can have different impact on the regional industrial development paths. This study empirically examines the relationship between firm ownership structure and regional industrial development paths using China Customs Database from 2000 to 2016 and econometric methods of panel data. Our results show that foreign-owned enterprises promote the emergence of path-defying new industries, while private firms promote the emergence of path-dependent new industries. Regarding the relationship between regional ownership structure and regional industrial development paths, regions with more foreign-owned enterprises develop more path-defying new industries with lower technological complexity. Regions with more state-owned enterprises diversify into more path-defying new industries with higher technological complexity. Regions with more private enterprises diversify into more path-dependent new industries with lower technological complexity. It is also found in this paper that private firms in eastern China started to promote the emergence of path-dependent new industries with higher technological complexity in recent years. In term of the relationship between the level of development and regional industrial development paths, developed regions usually have more path-defying new industries, while developing regions show a higher tendency of path dependence. Developed regions also create more path-defying new industries with higher technological complexity, while developing regions diversify into more path-dependent new industries with lower technological complexity. This study can help to go beyond the technological determinism in the mainstream EEG studies theoretically. Our findings can also provide suggestions for policy makers in practice. It is suggested that measures should be taken to deal with the path-dependence of regional industrial evolution in the developing regions of China. |
