| Abstract: | Developing west area in China has been a great strategy of Chinese government. Although northwest arid area is a large agricultural region which is rich in resources, but ecological environment there is very weak, the conflict between developing economy and protecting environment is going sharper and sharper. So it is a high eco-sensitive region. To realize sustainable development of society and economy in the region, it is a vital guarantee that agriculture and rural economy developed sustainablely. The paper points out that building eco-agriculture embodies the content of market agriculture, adjusting rural industrial structure, industrializing agriculture and comprehensive development of rural economy, it is the best way to fulfil sustainable development of agriculture and rural economy in arid area. |
