扁率应力与地震

摘    要:地球扁率的实测值要比理论值大,这证明地球内部还存在着微小的应力差。经计算,扁率变化所产生的地球形变与冰期中由地壳均衡所产生的地球形变在数值上大体相等。这表明冰期是地球扁率变化的一个原因。地壳均衡不仅能产生地壳的垂直运动,而且能产生地壳的水平运动,因而也是海底扩张、大陆漂移的力源之一。

Abstract:The actual flattening of Earth ellipsoid is 1/298.25, which was measured by man- made satelites. It is bigger then the flattening 1/299.8 which was calculated with thcory of internal force field. It has proved that there is a few stress difference in the earth. The earth deformation which results from change of flattening and the deformation because of crustal isostasy in glacial period have almost same value by calculation. Ice age, therefore, is a cause of change of earth ellipticity at least. Crustal isostasy not only can lead to vertical crustal motion, but can generate horizontal motion. Consequently, is also is one of force source to drive ocean floor spreading and drift of continents.
