摘    要:对新生代火山活动携带到地表的超镁铁岩捕虏体岩石的主元素、微量元素和同位素特征的研究表明,南海北部及邻区岩石圈地幔组成和空间变化与大地构造分区有密切联系;区域上的岩石圈地幔经历过多重地幔交代作用,而与南海北部陆缘活化和陆缘扩张更为密切相关的地幔交代作用可能主要为高温型富Fe-Ti交代作用;软流圈热物质上升是引起大陆地壳活化的重要的深部作用因素。

Abstract:Based on a study of major and trace elements, and isotopic composition of the xenolithic ultramafic rocks carried by the Cenozoic volcanism, characteristics and spatial variations of the lithospheric mantle of the northern South China Sea and the surrounding areas have been discussed in this paper. It has been recognized that the lithospheric mantle of the northern South China Sea and the coastal region is mainly composed of spinel lherzolite which is relatively fertile' weakly depleted in major elements and of rather enriched LREE and flat MREE-HREE patterns, but generally belongs to a relatively depleted type in Sr-Nd isotopic composition; however,the lithospheric mantle of the Philippine island arc region is mainly composed of spinel harzburgite which is depleted in major elements and of weakly enriched LREE and very low MREE patterns, but generally belongs to an enriched type in Sr-Nd isotopic composition. These spatial variations of the lithospheric mantle bear close relation to the geotectonic settings. The research has further shown that the lithospheric mantle of the northern South China Sea and the surrounding areas has undergione mutiple metasomatism, the high-temperature Fe-Ti metasomatism in the upper mantle is possibly more closely related to the continental margin activation and the continental margin spreading in the northern South China Sea, and the upwelling of thermal materials from the asthenosphere is the important deep endogenic process resulting in the crustal activation.
