黄旗海沉积岩芯烧失量变化曲线:冰后期环境演变的有效代用指标

摘    要:重建黄旗海水位、水化学和湖泊生物学变化历史可为研究我国夏季风边缘区冰后期气候变化提供重要环境记录。对该湖中央HQH4岩芯研究结果显示,末次冰期晚期沉积物中湖泊自生有机质烧失量和自生碳酸盐烧失量的平均值分别仅为全新世沉积物的1/13和1/5,造成这种结果的主导因素是夏季气温在全新世初显著升高和黄旗海从此进入稳定的湖泊环境。晚全新世自生碳酸盐烧失量平均值比早、中全新世低14%,其最大值也明显低于早、中全新世,这种情况很可能是因为晚全新世夏季温度略低于早、中全新世所致。自生有机质和碳酸盐烧失量是快速、经济地获取闭流型半咸水湖泊冰后期环境变化的有效代用指标。

Abstract:Lake Huangqihai is a hydrologically closed lake in Inner Mongolia and lies today near the margin of the Asian summer monsoon.The fluctuations of the lake level and water chemistry are controlled by catchment inflow,which is mainly determined by summer precipitation in the lake's large catchment.The reconstruction of past variations in lake level,water chemistry and limnological conditions may provide key site information on the post-glacial climate change of the region.In January 2000,three sediment cores were recovered from the middle of Lake Huangqihai,which initiated the 'off-the ice coring technique' for lakes in China.Data of loss-on-ignition(LOI) analysis for an 11 m long core,HQH4,indicate that organic-related LOI(LOIOR)and carbonate related LOI(LOICR) values in the late glacial sediments are on average 1/13 and 1/15 respectively of the values of the Holocene sediments.An abrupt increase in summer temperature and permanent expansion of the lake near the onset of the Holocene resulted in the marked increase of organic productivity and authigenic carbonate production of the paleo-lake.Summer temperature during the late Holocene may also be somewhat lower than it was during the early and middle Holocene,as implied by the LOICR values of late Holocene sediments,on average 14% lower than those of the early and middle Holocens.Results indicate that LOI is an easy-to-measure and economic method and down-core variation in both LOIOR and LOICR values are particularly useful as an environmental proxy for the study of post-glacial environmental change of brackish and closed lakes.
