| Abstract: | Sichuan is short of kyanite mineral resources. Only ca. 30 kyanite occurrences are discovered in Sichuan to date. On the basis of metamorphic metallogenetic theory and geological features, kyanite deposits in Sichuan are divided into three categories and eleven subcategories. The present paper deals with geological features, ore-forming conditions, distribution and prospecting targets of major kyanite deposit types in Sichuan. |
