| Abstract: | It is known that the requirement of asymptotic flatness places restrictions on spherically-symmetric solutions to field equations. Here it is shown that the most general solution to the static spherically-symmetric massless scalar Einstein equations with zero cosmological constant is asymptotically flat; furthermore, the general solution is derived and shown to be identical to a solution previusly found by M. Wyman. |
