摘    要:本文假设亚暴时跨尾电流被等离子体团中断,转向成沿磁力线流动的1区场向电流。根据文献1]的模拟结果,算出场向电流在电离层中的分布。并以此场向电流为输入,计算电离层电势和电流。结果表明,场向电流强度可达1.5×106 A以上,与观测结果一致;它主要分布于70°N以北的区域。电离层电流主要以夜间西向电射流形式出现,主要成份是Hall电流;极区电位降最大可达190kV。本文还简要讨论了等离子体团的晨-昏向尺度对场向电流分布和电离层电导率对电离层电流的影响。

Abstract:The field-aligned current during a substorm is calculated based on the simulation result by Lee et al. (1985), with the assumption that the cross-tail current is interrupted by the plasmoid and then diverted into the ionosphere along the field lines. The ionospheric potential and current are also computed using the obtained field-aligned current as input. It is found that the intensity of the field-aligned current can be as high as 1.5×106 A and its distribution region is confined to the north of 70°N, in agreement with the observational results. The ionospheric current is mainly in the form of the westward electrojet flowing in the nighside sectors, and its main component is Hall current. The maximum value of the potential difference across the polar-cap is about 190 kV. The effects of the length of the plasmoids in the dawndusk direction and the conductivity of the ionosphere on the results obtained are also briefly discussed.
