| Abstract: | Basing on the thorough collections and systematic studies of the geological reports of exploration,detailed investigation and ore spot inspection in gypsum mining areas,and the drilling dada from the reports of coal fields,bauxite,petroleum,the authors considered that the main minerogenetic epoch of gypsum in Shanxi is Middle Ordovician According to the analysis of gypsum bearing horizon space distribution,lithologic characters,petrofacies and sedimentary environment,the genesis of gypsum is also discussed |
