| Abstract: | AbstractIt is not clear th at a knowledge of the position of the “centre” of any area, be it a county or a continent, serves any useful purpose, though it may, perhaps, help to define our ideas as to the shape of the area in question. Such information may take its place amongst those contents of the mind which are rather of the nature of art than of science, and minister harmlessly to our curiosity. |
