Abstract: | The finite element analysis procedure PLAXIS was presented to predict the dynamic response of macadam subgrade under dynamic loading. The deformation and acceleration of the subgrade were calculated to obtain the dynamic characters. Compared with the traditional soil subgrade, the macadam subgrade has larger compressive strength and better deformation recoverability. The finite element analysis was performed to prove the feasibility to use crushed stones to construct subgrade on the area with little soil resource. |
