| Abstract: | The layer characteristics and the difference of electromagnetic properties of the section of the blasting compaction for filling stone have the basic physical testing precondition of ground penetrating radar (GPR). The testing practice of a beach dike in Dongtou of Zhejiang Province, shows that the bottom depth, width, the waist width etc.of the deep thick ripped rock layer, whose bottom depth reaches 35m, can be tested using GPR when the 16MHz lower frequency antenna and the appropriate testing parameters are used. But it is difficult to recognize the mixing layer of soil and stone in the bottom. |
