摘    要:<正> 下扬子地区早石炭世地层发育,研究历史早,工作精度高。笔者在前人的基础上,对区内岩石地层剖面和沉积构造作了详细观察,分析了沉积物来源和古生物特征,建立了四个海进—海退的沉积序列,讨论其时代。把本区划分为三个沉积相带:北带——滨海、宝应到巢县一带;中带——南京、镇江、溧阳至泾县一带;南带——江阴、宜兴、湖州、宣城沿长江至鄂东南(图1)。


Early Carboniferous lithostratigraphic units of the lower Yangtze area
Abstract:Lower Carboniferous strata are widely distributed in the lower Yangtze area (Jiangsu,North Zhejiang, Anhui and Southeast Hubei). Based on transgression sediment region,lithological feature, lithofacies paleogeography, thickness and age of the strata, this area is classified into three facies belts: North, Middle and South belts. Through facies analysis,four transgression-regression sedimentary sequences can be recognized: 1. transgression-regression sedimentary sequence of Shizikou age(late Wutong stage), tending to be limited to the North belt, 2. transgression-regression sedimentary sequence of Jinling age, widely distributed in this area, 3. transgression-regression sedimentary sequence of Huozhou age, distributed in the North and Middle belts, 4. transgresslon-regression sedimentary sequence of Laohudong age, widely distributed in all the lower Yangtze area. These sedimentary sequences arecomposed of transgressive littoral deposits, shallow-sea deposits and regressive littoral deposits from bottom to top. All transgressions in the lower Yangtze area developed in the North belt, advancing principally from NE to SW. The terrigenous clasts are derived from the "Jiangnan Old Land". Based on fusulinids, corals and conodcnts, Laohudong Dolomite in the North belt may be referred to the Datang stage, that in the Middle belt to the Lower—Middle Carboniferous, and that in the South belt to the lower Middle Carboniferous. The limestone of Shizikou age contains conodonts(Siphonodella simplex-Polygnathus inornatus combination) of middle Touranisian age and coral(Syringopora subramulosa)typical of the late Tournaisian. Moreover, as the flora in the Wutong Group is of Late Devonian to Early Carboniferous age, the continental strata below the limestone may be early Tournaisian in age.
