Thermal nature of the source of the Indian gravity anomaly |

| Abstract: | The non-hydrostatic part of the second zonal harmonic term has been included in the Indian gravity anomaly. The interpretation of the potential, gravity and deflection of the vertical has been produced by a new method. The depth of the source is 580 km and the solution satisfies the temperature gradient of 1°K/km. The ratio Δ Vp/Δp > 0 shows the thermal nature of the density distribution near 670 km. |
