| Abstract: | Several issues in the design of the geological data warehouse system are proposed and dealt with in this paper: the operation data storage as the interface between database and data warehouse, the geqraphic information system berrowed to store and express spatial data, the cascade updating, the expression of the complex relationship between subjects, and the special data extraction model. A complete geological data warehouse consists of three layers: storage layer, analysis layer and expression layer. In addition, the design of the cornmo warehouse should be included in the design of the storage layer. |
