| Abstract: | As the field examples on the being built hydroelectric power station site in Guangxi and on the Yangtze Gorge site in Yichang, the applications of GPR to tunnel engineering work are discussed in this paper. The results indicate that the GPR techniques can be used to detect the karst corrosion zone,caves and their passage,and the forward situation on the stope face in limestone region. They also can be applied to investigating fracture zone and fault surface in the weathered granite region. |
