摘    要:城市供水管网是一个城市的生命线,是城市规划建设管理的基础信息,本文在分析了城市供水管网存在问题的基础上,介绍了采用ArcEngine作为基础平台开发城市供水管网信息系统的优势和方法,着重介绍了利用VB和ArcEngine实现系统的一些关键技术,实现了给水管网三维显示、虚拟三维飞行等功能,该功能能根据选定的路径查看沿线地形环境,解决了传统的二维显示的局限性,为供水管网设计部门进行管线设计和工改大修等提供了一定的决策支持。

Abstract:City water supply pipe network is the lifeline of a city,and is the foundation information of the city planning construction management.In this paper,it analyzed the urban water supply pipe networks on the basis of the existent problem,introduced the advantages and methods that ArcEngine was used as a platform for the development of city-based water supply network information system,and especially introduced the key technologies of the system using VB and ArcEngine,by which it realized 3D display and 3D virtual flight functions of water supply network.Those functions could check the terrain environment along the path according to the selected routes,which broke through the limitations of traditional 2D display.It provided certain policy-making support for water supply pipe network design department to carry on the pipeline design and repair working.
