| Abstract: | In this paper we discussed the calculating method that is widcly used in Meteor Radar for calculating the position of Meteor tail by a proper arangemenr of receiving antenna of Meteor Radar. We derived the general formula of calculating position without any additional conditions and limitations. We show that the original formula is a special case of the new formula. We also discussed the arangement of receiving antenna of our Meteor Radar in connection with the situation in the new section of our observatory, which will be set up on the top of Mr, Li, and its effect on position determination. |
