| Abstract: | This paper is to highlight of the advances on the following topics : the large-scale circulation ofthe Mei-Yu front;the subsynoptic and mesoscale features of the Mei-Yu front; the development ofthe low-level jet associated with the Mei-Yu front; the development of the heavy rainfall associat-ed with the Mei-Yu front. In the paper, somepoints of view to the development of the low-level jetand the heavy rainfall have been reviewed and new points of view have been put forward. |
