| Abstract: | By using the data of NCEP/NCAR monthly mean reanalysis and latent heat in summer over the east part of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau from 1975 to 2005 as well as Northwest Pacific tropical cyclone(TC)data,study in the climatic background about the effect of latent heat on TC activity has been carried out.Analysis showed that correlation coefficient between summer latent heat and frequency of TC amounted to-0.45 at more than 0.01 significance level.Through further analysis of environmental conditions which is close... |
