Abstract:The southern part of the Fuping uplift is located in the middle part of Tai-hang mountains. There might be five unconformities existing in the Early Pre-cambrian system,and then it could be subdivided into five groups,that is Fuping Group, Jiaotanzhuang Group, Longquanguan Group of the Archean, and Wutai Group and Hutuo Group of the Early Proterozoic. They indicate that the Archeozoic tectonic environment is continental nucleus development and crustal block formation, and the Early Proterozoic tectonic environment is represented as rift.
