论珠江口盆地恩平组的时代归属

摘    要:<正> 珠江口盆地的恩平组是一套巨厚的以泥岩为主,间夹砂岩的陆相含煤岩系。在地震剖面中,处于T_7—T_8反射层间。与上覆层珠海组呈明显的角度不整合,与下伏层文昌组呈不整合接触。恩平组广泛见于盆地各钻井中,原油孢粉和地球化学分析结果表明,它是珠江口盆地的重要生油岩系之一。但对其时代归属,各家迄今尚未取得共识。本文根据近年获得的资料(主要是孢粉方面的资料),结合南海地质发展史的分析,应用多重地层划分方法,提出进一步讨论。

On the age assignment of the Enping Formation in the Pearl River Mouth Basin
Abstract:The Enping Formation in the Peral River Mouth Basin is a set of very thick terrigenous coal-bearing strata consisting chiefly of shale intercalated with sandstone. It is situated between T, and T8 seismic reflections and has been drilled in most holes in this basin. The study of sporo-pollen and geochemical characteristics of crude oil suggested tht the Enping Formation is one of the important source rocks of this basin. However, about its dating, geologists have many different opinions. The characteristics of sporo-pollen assemblage occurring commonly in the Enping Formation are: 1. minor tricoplate type, such as Quercoidites minutus and minor tricolporate type, such as Cupuliferoipollenites pusillus which is absolutely predominant, about 40-50% of the total. 2. elements of Pinuspollenites, Alni-pollenites and Momipites being much less in the Enping Formation (commonly concentrating in the upper part) than in the Zhuhai Formation. 3. Dicolpopollis kockelii, Liquidambarpo-llenites, Polypodiisporites usmensis, Taxodiaceaepollenites. 4. Ulmipolleniies minor, Ulmoidei-pites krempii and Gothanipollis bassensis being 0-5% in content. 5. Pentapollenites, Plicapollis and Retimultiporopollenites liushaensis. The sporo-pollen flora shows that it is central sub-tropic broad-leaved decideous and coniferous mixed forest flora growing in warm-wet climate. Based on the characteristics of the sporo-pollen flora and the correlation of this assemblage with that of adjacent areas, also considering the geological evolution of South China Sea, the author believes that the Enping Formation is Eocene in age.
