| 摘 要： | 本文给出了一个统计方法,可以由观测得到的Be星视自转速度U=V sin i,估计出其真自转速度V;本文证实了Be星不是以临界速度旋转的,其真自转速度和临界速度之比为0.7左右。

| Abstract: | In this paper, a statistical method is given, by which we can get the true rotational velocity of Be stars from visual rotational velocity for a large number of stars. Using Slettebak's observation of all Be stars brighter than 6m over the sky, we have confirmed that Be stars do net rotate at the critical velocity and the ratio of the true rotational velocity to critical velocity is about 0.7. We think that there must be some part of force other than centrifugal which can push the stellar material out to form shells, and it comes presumably from the radiative pressure. |
