| Abstract: | This paper discusses the features of geographical position, terrain and general configuration of sea bottom and the distribution of bottom sediment in the South China Sea, hence to understand the characteristics of the fisheries resources in the region. The results show that the division of fisheries regions in the South China Sea corresponds to the geographical features mentioned above. By analyzing the relationship among them, the fish habits and customes as well as fish distribution in the South China Sea were studied. |
