| Abstract: | t Because the supply of iron ores particularly the high-grade ores fails to meet the demand in domestic market, the exploitation of existing mineral resources and full utilization of iron ores become an urgent task. Combining with operation of Yeshan Iron Mine, a old iron mine for many years, the author deems that a series of favourable policies should be given continuously to state-owned mines to support their perfor- mance in full utilization of mineral resources, technical reform and improving. Meanwhile both prospecting and mining which lay equal stress on the operation must be persisted to decrease the rate of mining loss and dilution rate by the rational exploitation and application for existing mineral resources. |
