地下宇宙线研究的物理和工程应用

摘    要:在原初宇宙线与大气物质的相互作用中产生的μ子具有很强的地下穿透能力和相当稳定的流强,适合于作地质检测。利用地下μ子方向强度可以做大置物理方面的基础研究和开辟许多重要的实际应用途径。本文简要介绍了μ子物理,讨论在不同研究领域中的应用,特别是在地质和土木建筑“诊断”方面的实际应用。

Abstract:Cosmic-ray muons produced ip' the interactions between primary cosmic rays and the atmospheric substances are very powerful to penetrate underground, its intensity is very steady and then it is fittest for geologic inspects. Much essential research work in physics can be carried out and many applications can be found by means of the measurements of intensities of underground muons. This paper describs briefly muno physics and discusses the applications in different research fields especialy in the "diagnoses" for geologies and civil engineering.
