| Abstract: | A regularization method for integrating the equations of motion of small N-body systems is discussed. We select a chain of interparticle vectors in such a way that the critical interactions requiring regularization are included in the chain. The equations of motion for the chain vectors are subsequently regularized using the KS-variables and a time transformation. The method has been formulated for any number of bodies, but the most important application appears to be in the four-body problem which is therefore discussed in detail. |
