| Abstract: | Taking SPOT satellite data as main information source, the authors conducted a dynamic monitoring on the open pit mining activities in east Nanjing based on comparison of varied time and phase, found out the spatial distribution characters of the open pit mines in different periods of time, analyzed their impact on the surrounding landscape and environment, discussed their inner relations with social development and policy-making governments. |
